Steampunk Portfolio

I'm relatively new to Steampunk, but I have made a hand-full of pieces so far with every intention of making many, many more.  I hope you all enjoy it, and if anyone has any suggestions of how I can improve my Steampunk designs, by all means, please share your advice!

Reversible Steampunk watch pendant.  The copper has been heat patine-ed and the catch for attaching it on to a chain or ribbon is an old jewelry spring clasp.  The pendant measures at 2 and 3/8 inches long and 1 inch wide at the widest point.

Victoria: Wings of Time

Steampunk and chainmaille necklace made from salvaged wire, keys, and other salvage. The weave is Oops, and the copper has been slightly heat patina-ed. The wing portion of the necklace centerpiece is an old belt buckle.

Toothless the Dragonfly

Wire and found object dragonfly sculpture. The body is made up of a rusty screw-bit I found outside while taking a walk, the rest is made from 20ga and 28ga wire. The 2 1/8 inches long with a wingspan of 4 3/4 inches and stands about 1 inch tall.

 Arachinda Typographicus

Steampunk spider sculpture made from old watch parts, typewriter parts, wire, and a bead. The spider has about a 7 inch leg-span.

("Beatrice" by Handmaden Designs LLC)

High-class steampunk/upcycled Marcasite necklace.  The necklace is made from old jewelry and watch parts.  The watch-pendant does work.  The necklace is 18 3/4 inches long.

("Lenora" by Handmaden Designs LLC)

Steampunk/upcycled necklace/choker using old watch and jewelry parts.  The necklace/choker is just under 16 inches long

("Helena" by Handmaden Designs LLC)

Steampunk pendant made from oxidizing copper and an old watch. The pendant is a wire-wrapped pendant and measures at 1.75 inches long and just over 1 inch wide.

("Louisa: Time Flies" by Handmaden Designs LLC)

This piece started as a small sculpture I'd named "Lepidoptera Timex," but as the sculpture was so small I decided to turn it into the centerpiece for a necklace instead. "Louisa: Time Flies" is a Steampunk necklace created from old watch parts, salvaged chains, couple beads, and scraped electrical wire.  The butterfly centerpiece is a small sculpture measuring at 1.5 inches across, 1.25 inches deep, and 3/8 inches high. The necklace measures at 18.75 inches long.
