Smithsonite is a beautiful stone that can come in white, pink, green, yellow, brown, pink, or colourless. Most of the time it forms as botryoidal stalactitic masses or honeycombed aggregates, but sometimes it will also form as crystals. Smithsonite is often mined as a source of zinc. It can be found inItaly, Germany, Mexico, Zambia, Australia, and parts of the U.S.
